Abaana Community Outreach Africa (ACO-Africa) was founded in 2009 as a community based organisation (CBO) in Masaka-Lwengo District of Uganda East Africa by a group of professionals and volunteers, it later renovated into a non-profit organisation (NGO) with the purpose of breaking the cycle of poverty by providing loving support and care among the poorest and most vulnerable people— especially HIV positive children and women laying an emphasis on health, education , psychosocial care, economic empowerment, food security nutrition, shelter and human rights.
